2026 update on magazine
A quick transparent note: our virtual magazine is currently on pause.
Creating each issue requires substantial time, energy, and financial resources, and at this time, we’ve chosen to pause the project to honor our capacity and focus on the work that needs us most.

Right now, our primary focus is The CPTSD Community Hub — our survivor-led space for support circles, resources, and ongoing community connection.
If you haven’t explored the Hub yet, we encourage you to check it out (click here for free virtual tour) . This is where our energy and heart are centered.

You can still explore all previously released magazine issues, now available as downloadable PDFs.

Thank you for understanding and for supporting the heart behind this project.
As a 100% survivor-led, volunteer-powered organization with no major financial backing, every project we take on depends on capacity — and we’re committed to being transparent about that.

FAQ

What if I already applied to write for the magazine but haven’t had the chance yet?
Your application is still on file. If we reopen magazine production in the future, we will revisit all existing applications and reach out to previously accepted writers.

Can I still apply to be featured or write for a future issue?
Yes — applications remain open. However, because the magazine is paused, we cannot promise if or when new issues will resume. If you apply, your submission will remain on file for future consideration.

Why was the magazine paused?
The magazine is a completely free resource that requires significant time, capacity, creative energy, and financial investment to produce. As a survivor-led, volunteer-led organization without large-scale funding, we have to prioritize where our limited capacity goes — and right now, the CPTSD Community Hub needs us most.
Will the magazine return?
We hope so, but we can’t guarantee a timeline. If and when capacity grows — whether through increased funding, volunteer support, or expanded resources — we will revisit the possibility of bringing it back.
